WHY BLUEBERRY?
Blueberry is a berry that impresses not only with its unique taste, but also with useful properties. Blueberry is rich in vitamins C, K, E and various antioxidants. Berries also contain useful minerals such as magnesium, potassium and iron. Lohina contains substances that can improve the condition of blood vessels and lower cholesterol.
Blueberry becomes an excellent ingredient for desserts, cocktails, jams and sauces. It can be used as an independent berry or in combination with other fruits.

ABOUT US
To solve the issue of entering foreign markets with Ukrainian blueberries, the Union of Blueberry Producers and Exporters (UBPE) was created. This is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the interests of farmers in foreign markets and help organize the export of blueberries to other countries. countries
Our goal is to provide access to small and medium-sized blueberry producers to European and other sales markets, by raising production standards, unifying the issues of the use of plant protection products during cultivation, issues of cooling and storage of berries, as well as by organizing joint batches for sending berries for export.

Requirements for farms wishing to cooperate with UBPE
Control
Control over all processes during blueberry cultivation - refusal to use chemicals banned in Europe. All members of the union must work according to pre-agreed technological maps, at the same time, the choice of fertilizers is a personal matter of everyone, but the choice of herbicides, fungicides and insecticides is strictly regulated.
In order to prevent the supply of low-quality products, every member of the union annually performs an analysis of the quality of berries in a certified laboratory. An enterprise whose products have not passed the annual analysis will suspend its membership until the deficiencies are eliminated.
Export
The possibility of organizing an export batch of blueberries
(minimum - 6 tons per week).
Equipment
The presence of refrigeration equipment (quick cooling and the possibility of storage at a temperature of +2C).
BLUEBERRY SEASON IN UKRAINE IS OVER
The blueberry season in Ukraine ended a month ago, so we summarize it. This year, enterprises belonging to the Union of Blueberry Producers and Exporters (SVEL) significantly increased the export of their products. About 220 tons of fresh berries were sent to such countries as Moldova, Romania and Serbia. This became possible thanks to the establishment of direct contacts with large importers of these countries, as well as due to constant quality control of products by our manufacturers. Special attention was paid to compliance with the requirements for cooling and maintaining the necessary temperature during all technological processes and transportation of products to consumers (cold chain). For this purpose, retrofitting with refrigeration equipment and reconstruction of loading areas for finished products was carried out. Another enterprise of the Union was audited before receiving the Global G.A.P and GRASP certificates.
All this will give the Union enterprises the opportunity to expand the volume of supplies next year and find new partners in the EU countries.
